Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market

Sunday Morning Market

Become a Friend of the Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market

The Seminole Heights Foundation is pleased to announce our support and participation in the upcoming Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market presented by the Business Guild of Seminole Heights.

The Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market will be an opportunity for a neighborhood gathering; for family and friends to meet and mingle, for fun in the sun, for fresh shopping and the opportunity to support and buy local.

The Mission of the Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market is to serve as a community-gathering place where local farmers and producers can offer fresh agricultural and related products to generate a sense of local pride and further economic development of the neighborhood of Seminole Heights.  Additionally, local artists will have the opportunity to showcase their efforts and sell their wares.

Did you know that Sunday Markets have significant “multiplier” effects in retail hubs? Market shoppers spend similar amounts at local stores as they do at the market. Not only do markets increase a community’s “sense of place”, they support the local economy.

Your tax-deductible donation through the Seminole Heights Foundation will be designated for the Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market and will help defray the cost. We want to continue a vibrant, successful Sunday Morning Market in the Seminole Heights neighborhood.

Please consider supporting this, your community event. Your friends and neighbors will appreciate the support.

Thank-you SHF for providing us a way to give back and to invest in our GSH community and Hillsborough High School! The SH Sunday Morning Market will be a wonderful opportunity to invite the Tampa Bay area into our quaintly diverse neighborhood and show them what makes Seminole Heights so special. Given his track record, this should be another successful Greg Barnhill project!

We would like to thank everyone who came out in the sunny, but cold, weather yesterday to attend the 1st Sunday Morning Market. It is estimated that 800 people strolled the isles making this event a huge success. Next month there will be even more vendors and the organizers are striving to bring in produce vendors. (Two produce vendors backed out at the last minute this past week.) Make sure you mark your calender for Sunday, March 14 for the next Sunday Morning Market!! Thank you Greg Barnhill, Tiffany Ferrecchia and BGoSH for bringing this event to Seminole Heights.
